Brooke Combe

Leeds O2 Academy

Brooke Combe arrives in Leeds as part of Miles Kane support. A chance to showcase her talent to a new crowd as well as existing fans, whist getting everyone in the mood for a good night. This isn't always an easy task, regardless how up for it a crowd might be, you've got to be good at what you do. Brooke certainly is, a seriously talented musician, with a wealth of her own songs as well as dropping a cover an Arctic Monkeys Why'd You Always Call When You're High?, she got crowd up and going from the moment the first chord of A-Game is struck.

With a Scottish swagger Brooke delivers the Leeds audience with a beautiful slice of indie rock. An absolute surprise treat for the evening.

At 21 year old - now based in East and Midlothian, Brooke enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough year in 2021, which culminated in winning the Breakthrough Female prize at the Scottish Music Awards. Combe’s 2022 kicked off in similarly scintillating fashion with her debut single ‘Are You With Me?’ topping the Official Vinyl Singles chart upon its release on 7”. The rising soul star has been adopted by indie royalty such as The Courteeners and The Snuts, who Combe supported last year; now she joins a clutch of hotly-tipped female artists making waves on the live circuit like Wet Leg in announcing a run of UK festivals - including Liverpool Sound City, Warrington's Neighbourhood Weekender and a slot at Glasgow's TRNSMT. If you're attending any of these events, catch Brooke, as she's a rising star destined to go far.
